mywellness challenge club - Rugby World Cup Challenge

The Rugby World Cup (RWC) is a good excuse to run a long team challenge. This challenge can get a little complicated, so it’s up to you how far you go with this at your club.

(We're running this for a few clients; if you'd like us to set-up and manage it for you on your mywellness system(s), please email info@ggfit.com)

The basic premise is for members to join a RWC team, and then collect the most MOVEs. Some teams will have more members, so take average MOVEs per member per team.

Set-up a number of teams based on countries in the tournament. You can find a list of all the teams here: rugbyworldcup.com/teams. In 2019, there are 20 teams, so you might just create your top 10 countries, Eng, Wal, Sco, Ire, Fra, Ita, Aus, NZ, SA, Arg/Jap, or any that you know your members will want to join.

A weekly export of the participant list will show you participants and their teams, and you can run a quick sum and average of MOVEs/member/team (less teams=better)

If you or your members are big rugby fans (like us at GGFit!), then you can raise it up a gear…
‘Group stage’ 20 Sep - 20 Oct, to work out the top 4 teams.
Then start a new challenge ‘the Final’, 21 Oct - 2 Nov between those top 4 teams, with members joining afresh, picking who they would support.
